If a Toyota Prius just looks too friendly for your tastes, you’re not alone. People readily see faces and traits in cars, and a new study suggests that they prefer cars to appear dominant, masculine and angry.

i could relate to the article as i too prefer cars that have an aggressive gait to their design. perhaps it is about the indication of inherent power, speed and agility that these cars stand for. but one car design that probably bucks the linkage of power to looks is perhaps the porsches: they seem to look quite friendly and cheerful. the BMW’s on the other hand has an aggressive / angry look that reflects the brand’s essence of ultimate driving experience.

Gran Turismo 5 (hi-def) for the PS3

Once again, Polyphony has produced what looks like the mother of all console racing simulators with the upcoming Gran Turismo HD (or GT5, or whatever). This simulator will only be available on the Sony PS3.
